Salome

Salome (1971)

Great Nudity!

Review

Salome (1971) was a made for tv German version of Oscar Wilde's famous play, which in turn was based on a story from the Bible. Salome (Mascha Rabben) is the step-daughter of King Herod, and much to her step-father's chagrin, she does the fabled "Dance of the Seven Veils" in order to request that her he bring her the head of John the Baptist on a silver platter. The dance is designed to tempt Herod into a forbidden sexual desire for her, and as the legend goes, it was successful.  Mascha Rabben's performance of the dance is full of sexually charged energy and, more importantly, it's done totally topless! Mascha prances about and parades her peepers as she performs the dance, which culminates in her ripping off her long skirt and revealing what looks to be her totally shaved snatch! The footage is old and it's hard to tell if she's shaved or if the shadow is some fur, but either way, it's enough to have you bopping your little baptist along with her!
