Beast (2017)

It's a tale as old as time, such a sweet love story...  A young girl who is estranged from pretty much everyone in her small island town in Australia, including her family and super popular sister; well she falls in love with a new bad boy on the island who no one seems to know anything about.  Moll (Jessie Buckley) goes out partying one night and after having a guy try and get a little too physical with her, out pops Pascal (Johnny Flynn) with a rifle in hand and let's the would-be assailant know he's not scared to hurt him.  There is an immediate connection between the loner lass and the outsider bad boy.  The only snag in this seemingly perfect relationship is that the town is hit with a rash of grizzly murders of young women about the same age as Moll.  As the townspeople bring out their pitchforks and torches to come find the suspected serial killer, they aim all their effort on the bad boy who is unknown to everyone except his new lady friend.  Moll even goes as far as providing alibi's for him when he asks.  Sometimes falling in love makes you go a little crazy and look past the obvious, but in this instance, the obvious might be a fact that your new boyfriend is a serial killer and throughout the course of this movie he begins to show his true colors to Moll in some of the worst ways possible.  What is a girl to do with her serial killer boyfriend?  Help him out, or jump ship?  Either way, Jessie Buckley makes her Nude-Comer debut in this feature and her topless swim in the murky waters is just a delight, albeit somewhat obscured by the bubbles and water.  Still, we see a nipple, so it counts!
