Wait, Bridgerton was inspired by The Kardashians? Is that true? This rumor was steaming up Twitter yesterday and it turns out, according to one of the actresses involved, that it was indeed true. This came about because Kim Kardashian is a major Bridgerton fan. Her fandom was only elevated when she found out that she and her sisters were an inspiration to the actors in the period drama.

Irish actress Nicola Coughlan - best known for her work on the hilarious comedy Derry Girls (no nudity, sadly, but I highly recommend this Irish show on Netflix) - tweeted the fun fact that the Featheringtons were based on the Kardashians and that the actress talked about them "all the time" during their fittings. This caused Kim to tweet at Nicola that she would love to come to a fitting. She said, "it would make my whole life!!!" Not only that, but Nicola said that Mr. Pearl, the designer for Kim's famous Met Gala corset also made her corset for the show. What?! What a small world. We all, of course, remember that impossible corset:
Kim then started tweeting that she would love to appear on the show because she is the Corset Queen. So what do we think? Will Kim actually guest star on Bridgerton? Now that Keeping Up with the Kardashians is over, it seems like Kim could enjoy a second chapter to her career in which she actually acts. I think she might actually be decent at that! At the very least, she will be good eye candy. Not that the show is in need of that! Phoebe has that on lock:
