THE NOTEBOOK: LIMITED EDITION GIFT SET (2004)
STUDIO: New Line
NUDE: Rachel McAdams (right breast) (Picture-)
THE SKINNY: All of us can look forward to one day, if we are lucky and have not croaked off or reverted to a vegetative state in the meantime, a creaky old age in which our physical passions are catered to by nothing more than our pleasant memories. One lesson of The Notebook is that it is never too early to start jotting down those rousing recollections, to be pulled out and read at an opportune nursing-home moment, when the old gal in the next bed is susceptible to a story of true teenage love deferred for the sake of disapproving parents. No lonely granny can resist the tale of a romance rekindled once the youngsters have reached the age of consent and claimed mates of their own. Will true love triumph over the stodgy strictures of frowning society? For the sake of the old codger angling to score, we’d better hope so.

REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA (2008)
STUDIO: Lions Gate
NUDE: Jake Reardon (breasts)
THE SKINNY: Repo! The Genetic Opera is a one-of-a-kind kinky-gory-Gothy musical phantasmagoria set in 2057, when elective surgery is humanity’s primary rush and GeneCo, the corporation that supplies the body parts, occasionally has to yank their products back for non-payment of services rendered. Grown-up Spy Kids kid Alexa Vega stars as a teenage recluse who may or may not be stricken with a rare malady, while her father (Anthony Head) cares for her by day and then, by night, dons leather and power tools and acts as a Repo Man, re-harvesting unpaid for human organs (while they’re still in use). Paris Hilton is bloody sexy as the operation-addicted heiress to the GeneCo empire, while masculine-monikered Jake Reardon proves she’s all woman by flashing her udderly lovely, implant-free breasts. Repo! The Genetic Opera will extract some of your own DNA.
