The world has fallen in love with Celine Dion all over again after we watched her gorgeous return to singing at the Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony over a week ago. She was brilliant, moving many of us to tears, but she was also clothed from head to toe. That wasn't much of a surprise, but I do have a surprise for you.

The songstress hails from Quebec where the French-Canadian singer grew up and came to prominence. She has been a star since she was a teenager, winning audiences over with her loud voice and passionate way of singing. While Celine Dion has always seemed rather poised, the petite young woman tried her hand at acting when she was quite young. As a young woman in her very early twenties, she starred in a French language mini-series called Des fleurs sur la neige. Not only did she act, but she also went nude.

She was told that she may never be able to sing again. While her performances may be limited, it is truly amazing that she overcame the diagnosis for one last song. Will there be more? We can all hope so!
