Out of all the Wayans family yuck-makers, Kim Wayans is Mr. Skin’s favorite. While gut-bustingly goofy enough to be one of the boys, this soul sister manages to stay looking like one of the girls, a bootilicious beacon of loveliness next to her bug-eyed, boisterous brothers. Who says pretty women ain’t funny? This dark and lovely lady is a one-woman laugh factory in stand-up circles. Contrary to belief, Kim started the climb up the comedy ladder on her own. While inciting laugh riots in Hollywood clubs, funnyman Robert Townsend noticed the braided beauty and offered her a small part in Hollywood Shuffle (1987). Cosby Show execs thought she was spunkilicious and cast her in their spin-off A Different World. After her own series of yuck-cesses, Kim became a family name during the four-year fun fest on brother Keenan Ivory Wayans's innovative variety series In Living Color. Her parodies of pampered pop icons like Oprah Winfrey and Whitney Houston were notoriously on the money, while her original characters, including Benita “I ain’t one to gossip, but” Butrell, brought down the house. Kim went from bringing the house down to working in it with rapper LL Cool J on his short-lived series In the House. Ms. Wayans's other credible cutups include joshing with her belly bombing bros in I’m Gonna Git You Sucka (1988), A Low Down Dirty Shame (1994) and Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood (1996). Most recently Kim starred as a Sapphic sista in Juwanna Mann (2002). Her skimpy threads and rock hard abs will make Juwanna woman just like her.
