Brooklyn gal Jewel Shepard took an amazing path to L.A. stardom. While working as a stripper, her car broke down in front of auto designer George Barris's shop, home of the Batmobile and the Monkeemobile. Barris got her a job modeling for car shoots, and her acting career soon took off. Her second nude role made her a true gazonga goddess, playing the beauty whose top got popped by telekinetic Scott Baio in the film Zapped! (1982). Shepard's since gone on to doff her clothes in plenty of films (and to do some voice work on the Garfield & Friends cartoon show). We're particularly fond of her muscular mammaries in Caged Heat II: Stripped of Freedom (1993), but her earlier, softer, brunette years are just as sparkling. Jewel's also promoted her nudie career in the documentary Jewel Naked Around the World (1995) and If I'm So Famous, How Come Nobody's Ever Heard of Me? (1994), a video version of her autobiography. And she returned to acting--after an eight-year absence--as a hooker in the critically acclaimed film The Cooler (2003).
