For today's Foreign Film Friday, we are heading over to the Eastern Block. We are going to Poland to check out a brand new Polish historical drama on Netflix called Operation Hyacinth. Let's take a look!

This film tells the story of Operation Hyacinth, a Polish communist police force that was formed in 1985 and ran for two years to observe and make notes on homosexual people living in Poland. This database eventually held up to 10,000 names! The police would then use this information to blacklist people, blackmail them, and target them for crimes that they did not commit.
That is the background needed to know about a man who goes undercover to find a murderer who is lurking in the city's secret gay clubs. He tries to stop the killer, but there is pressure from higher up to pin the crime on people that did not commit it. He has to work against the clock to solve this case.
The leading man gets involved with Halinka, played by Adrianna Chlebicka who has some seriously sexy scenes with him. She goes nude in two scenes, showing off her perky little suck sacks. She doesn't really help out with the case, but she does solve one mystery - the mystery what she looks like naked! Case closed!
