Today's female filmmaker is a nepo baby of the highest caliber. She is the daughter of one of the greatest American writers of all time and her husband is also something of a creative genius. She ain't too bad herself! In fact, the apple didn't fall far from the tree when it came to writer-director and former actress Rebecca Miller.

Who's Rebecca's daddy? Arthur Miller, of course! No, Marilyn is not her mom. Rebecca's mom is a photographer named Inge Morath whom Miller married immediately after he divorced Marilyn. Rebecca had a relatively normal life in the Connecticut countryside being raised by two creative parents. She was pushed towards exploring artistic pursuits and the young lady even studied sculpture at Yale.

Rebecca Miller began her career as an actress. She starred in 1992's Consenting Adults in which she consented to disrobing for the camera and showing off her body.

According to IMDB, Rebecca has said of her brief acting career: "Thank God my movies were flops. If I had become a movie star that would have been a personal disaster. Friends wondered what the hell I was doing at that time because acting seemed so out of character. But I knew I wasn't suited to it. I don't like my face being the focus." As much as I like her face (and ass) being the focus, I am happy that she continued to focus on nudity in her own films.

Her debut feature film was released in 1995 when she directed the film, Angela. This difficult drama follows a young girl who lives with her bipolar mother. Angela and her younger sister try to cope with their mom's illness and attempt not to take it personally. Meanwhile, their mother is played by the delicious Anna Levine who does show her breasts when she is wrestling around on the ground with a lover.

In 2002 she won the grand prize at Sundance with her follow-up feature film Personal Velocity: Three Portraits. This award-winning film had Rebecca act as a narrator reading short stories. The actresses play out these stories, including Parker Posey who ditches her top in a quick closeup.

One of her best-known films was released in 2005: The Ballad of Jack and Rose. There was no nudity in this film, but it is worth noting that it told the story of a father and a daughter living in a hippie commune. A father-daughter story from a woman with a famous father? I think that's worth mentioning.

Next up was a movie with tits! The Private Lives of Pippa Lee tells the story of a 50-year-old publisher played by Robin Wright who has a breakdown after her older husband moves the family to a retirement community and begins an affair with a younger woman. We are then taken through her journey throughout her life which means we get to see Blake Lively play a younger her.

The cast is rounded out by amazing actresses like Monica Bellucci, Winona Ryder,Julianne Moore, and Christin Sawyer Davis who goes topless to show off her tasty ta-ta's.

The entire world currently loves fellow filmmaker Greta Gerwig, but Rebecca used the billionaire filmmaker when she was an actress to star in Maggie's Plan in 2015. She starred alongside Ethan Hawke as a homewrecker who causes Ethan to leave his wife and have a baby with her. Years later she falls out of love with Ethan and feels guilty as she realizes she may have broken up soulmates.

It's an interesting, nuanced film made even better by the fact that Gerwig's boob makes an appearance.

Maggie's Plan was her last film for a few years. What is Rebecca Miller up to now? Oh, she's still at it. She just directed the film She Came To Me starring powerhouse actors Peter Dinklage, Anne Hathaway, and Marisa Tomei.

Also, Rebecca Miller is doing just fine in her personal life, too. Not only is she the daughter of one of the greatest American playwrights of all time, but she is also married to globally respected actor Daniel Day-Lewis since 1996. That's a lifetime in Hollywood! Rebecca has a good head on her creative shoulders.
