She’s no lumberjack, and that’s no Spam in her can! We could come up with plenty of clever lines about Carol Cleveland, still best remembered as the blonde comic foil for the men of Monty Python’s Flying Circus. Carol had already enjoyed a long career as a gorgeous glamour gal, including guest shots on The Avengers and The Saint. Still, Carol was working her tail off as a Bunny at the London Playboy Club when she got the call to work with Monty Python. She stayed busy outside of Python projects, too, including a sexy turn in Old Dracula (1974). Carol’s twin talents also got their overdue screen time in the sex farce All I Want Is You… and You… and You… (1974). Python fans, however, will strangle their trouser snakes to Carol’s work as, say, a naughty nun with a naughtier twin in Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975). Carol’s still around, still beautiful, and can be seen discussing her career as a self-described “fading glamour girl” in her one-woman show, Carol Cleveland Reveals All.
