Who You Think I Am (2019)

Celle que vous croyez, or Who You Think I Am (2019), is a French drama from writer/director Safy Nebbou (Dumas, In the Forests of Siberia). Juliette Binoche stars as Claire, a fifty year old French literature professor who is carrying on an affair with the emotionally distant Ludovic (Guillaume Gouix), but lately finds herself much more interested in his roommate Alex (François Civil). She begins stalking him on social media, eventually creating a fake Facebook profile pretending to be a 24 year old woman named Clara. As the two begin to develop an emotional connection online, Alex becomes insistent that the two finally meet in real life. Claire knows, however, that the younger man is going to be disappointed that she's not who she said she was and decides to delete the fake profile and cut off all contact with Alex. The next time she meets with Ludovic, she off handedly inquires about his roommate Alex and how he is doing, only to have Ludovic inform her that Alex has taken his own life after growing despondent over a relationship turned sour on Facebook. Claire must now figure out what's going on and whether or not she's going to be held responsible for his death, determined to protect the truth about what happened at all costs. Juliette Binoche is one of those French foxes we can't get enough of here at Mr. Skin as she never tires of going nude on film! We get to see her bare breasts twice in this flick during two different sexual encounters, letting us know that Juliette is always exactly who we think she is!
