Underwater Love (2011)

Think you’ve seen it all? Trust us, you haven’t seen anything until you’ve seen Underwater Love (2011). Lensed by legendary cinematographer Christopher Doyle, Underwater Love stars Sawa Masaki as Asuka, a woman who’s settled for less. She once dreamed of making it big in Tokyo, but now, at 35, she’s moved back home to a dreary job at a fish factory and a drearier engagement to her boss. Then one day she sees Aoki (Yoshiro Umezawa), her high school crush who drowned when they were teenagers. Aoki has transformed into a kappa, a Japanese half-turtle, half-man water spirit. 17 years in the swamp has left this turtle-man pretty horny, and he starts bonking Asuka’s coworker Rinko (Ai Narita) although he has eyes only for Asuka. Then the god of death appears and tells Aoki that his beloved Asuka will die within 24 hours unless she finds the pearl of immortality and, uhm, shoves it up her butt. And did we mention it’s a musical?

There’s plenty of Nipponese nips and nubile seat meat to go around, with Sawa Masaki and voluptuous porn star Ai Narita both stripping down for multiple scenes of softcore sex, both monster and human. Now that’s Mr. Skin’s kind of creature feature!
