Thunder (2022)

It’s the 1900s and Elizabeth (Lilith Grasmug) leaves the nunnery to return to the family farm in her small Swiss village after the death of her older sister Innocente (Léa Gigon). Innocente’s death is shrouded in mystery and she’s referred to as “the devil’s spawn”, with even her younger sisters Adele (Diana Gervalla) and Paule (Lou Iff) hesitant to share what they know. At the same time, Elizabeth’s faith is tested when a reunion with some of the boys from her childhood awakens strong sexual desires.
