The Tax Collector (2020)

The Tax Collector (2020) is a crime drama written and directed by David Ayer about two men who work for a Los Angeles crime boss as his "tax collector". They go after gangs and people that owe their boss money and lives, securing their positions as extremely dangerous hitmen who should be feared by everyone on their turf. Their lives, and their families' lives, are all put in some serious danger when their crime boss' old rival return to Los Angeles from Mexico. Violence spills into the street during this gang war. The rival is determined to run the gang out of town which is bad news for the tax collectors played by Bobby Soto and Shia LaBeouf. It's also not great news for the sexy Nayeli Esparza who becomes a victim in a ritual sacrifice.
