The Man Who Quit Smoking

The Man Who Quit Smoking (1972)

Brief Nudity

Review

A young man stands to inherit a very large sum, as long as he gives up one filthy habit first in The Man Who Quit Smoking (1972). Dante Alighieri’s (Gösta Ekman) wealthy father recently died, and his will stipulates that Dante will only receive his inheritance if he gives up smoking in 14 days and then stays smoke-free for an entire year. If he cannot complete the task, the entire fortune will go to his uncle instead. But it will be much harder than expected for Dante to give up his all-consuming habit, especially with his uncle trying to thwart him at every turn.Dante’s girlfriend is named Beatrice in an allegory to the hell of The Inferno but the T&A on Grynet Molvig certainly looks heavenly as she spins naked in a field. She’s smoking hot!
