The Last Vermeer (2020)

Based on the true story of Dutch art forger and national icon Han van Meegeren (Guy Pearce), The Last Vermeer (2019) tells of his exploits during World War II where he amassed a fortune by selling forgeries of priceless art works by baroque master Johannes Vermeer. The Dutch government orders an investigation be opened into van Meegeren on the suspicions that he is a Nazi collaborator, headed up by Joseph Piller (Claes Bang). However, the further Piller digs into the story, the more he becomes convinced that van Meegeren is not a collaborator, but rather knowingly swindling wealthy Nazis by selling them forgeries in an attempt to bleed the SS dry. Movies about art and artists are usually a great source of nudity, but the closest we get in this flick is a nude Olivia Grant posing for Pearce, though her positioning makes it impossible to see her nipples or her bare ass.
