The Exterminator (1980)

A Vietnam Vet transforms himself into a tough-as-nails vigilante in The Exterminator (1980). In this roughie gem from the heyday of 42nd Street exploitation, John Eastland (Robert Ginty) is just your everyday guy who works in a slaughterhouse...until his best friend Michael Jefferson (Steve James) is beaten into a coma by a gang of thugs. Using the killer knowledge he picked up in Vietnam, John transforms himself into the flamethrower-wielding badass The Exterminator and sets out to clean up the streets of New York, one gang member at a time. Skingoriac alert: "Times Square Hooker" Vonnabelle Roocke displays some rockin' rackage when she's tied to a bed and tortured with a sautering iron for refusing to participate in some "chickenhawk" antics. But it's cool, because her next client is The Exterminator, who gives those pervy jerks a taste of their own medicine.
