The Beta Test (2021)

The black comedy The Beta Test (2021) centers on a loathsome Hollywood agent named Jordan (Jim Cummings, who also co-wrote and co-directed). Jordan is about to take the plunge and get hitched to Caroline (Virginia Newcomb) but just before the nuptials, he receives an elegantly engraved invitation for one last anonymous fling before he leaves bachelorhood behind. Arriving at a fancy hotel, he is blindfolded and taken to a room where he has masked and anonymous sex with a woman—played by Olivia Grace Applegate—and has himself some of the best sex of his entire life. Immediately after, however, guilt sets in and it isn't long before that guilt turns to paranoia. Who, exactly, arranged all of this and why? Is someone out to get him? Jordan then throws himself headlong into solving the mystery of who is out to get him and why, tumbling down a rabbit hole that only deepens along with his own paranoia. Is he imagining all of this? Is it all in his head? Or is someone out there actively trying to ruin his life over past indiscretions? When you step over countless people on your way to the top, it's hard to remember all of them and Jordan's gonna find that lesson out the hard way. While we nearly get some nudity from Virginia Newcomb during a sex scene with Cummings, it's his sex montage with Olivia Grace Applegate that'll have you cumming, singular! Olivia flaunts her terrific T'n'A a number of times during the hotel tryst just 25 minutes in, turning this Beta Test into a Bate'a Test!
