Some things in life simply belong together like peanut butter and jelly, macaroni and cheese, and our personal favorite, horror movies and nudity! In the more than 50 years since nudity became allowed in mainstream films again, the horror genre has been a godsend for skin fanatics and this October we’re saluting our (un)lucky 13 favorite horror movie nude scenes! From the early seventies to earlier this year, we’ve got 13 of the most skincredible moments the horror genre has produced! So this year, let Mr. Skin’s Top 13 Horror Movie Nude Scenes scare you stiff!
Not enough modern remakes of slasher classics take the opportunity to add more nudity into the mix, but thankfully 2009’s remake of My Bloody Valentine is a glorious exception to that rule. Just 23 minutes into this skinstant horror classic, the gorgeous, fully nude Betsy Rue finds herself going from gun-toting badass babe to damsel in distress in a matter of seconds! You’ll have a heart-on for this bloody valentine!
Dan O’Bannon’s 1985 flick The Return of the Living Dead finds a group of punks partying in a cemetery that’s ground zero for a zombie outbreak. Before things take a turn for the gory, though, scream queen Linnea Quigley’s punk Trash does a sexy striptease to the synthpop song “Tonight (We’ll Make Love Until We Die)” by SSQ. The advent of high definition revealed a hidden layer to this scene, however, when it became clear that Quigley was fitted with a Barbie doll crotch in order to avoid an X rating. Honestly though, what’s more punk than denying the people what they want?
Horror and comedy are always a tricky mix, but 1999’s Idle Hands manages to pull of both sides of that genre equation. However, the film’s best scene is neither scary nor funny but dead sexy, when big breasted beauty Kelly Monaco—dressed as the Star Child from KISS for Halloween—lets her man go down on her in a car! Alright, so it’s a little funny when one of the titular idle hands gets in on groping Kelly’s titulars, but your not-so-idle hand probably won’t notice by that point!
Stanley Kubrick’s 1980 adaptation of Stephen King’s novel The Shining is filled with iconic moments and imagery that has burned itself into the brains of many film lovers. However, one of the most subversive moments comes when Jack Nicholson’s Jack Torrance enters the cursed Room 237 expecting to find a murderous killer and instead is confronted by the sight of Lia Beldam fully nude in the tub! The dream-like scene soon turns into a nightmare, but we can’t help but revel in those glorious few moments when this bewitching beauty makes us want to book a stay at the Overlook Hotel!
We’re suckers for lots of things here at Mr. Skin, namely celebrity nude debuts, fake porno shoots, and horror movie nudity, and this year’s X ticked every one of those boxes! Pitch Perfect star Brittany Snow shed her good girl image once and for all by playing an aspiring porn star in a porn basically being shot on the farm from Texas Chainsaw Massacre! Before the flick gets gory, Brittany gets down with Kid Cudi during a porn shoot, showing off her bare breasts on film for the very first time! There’s nothing quite like a Brittany Snow job!
Sharing a surname with the main character of an entire franchise, Debi Sue Voorhees seemed like a natural fit for the Friday the 13th franchise. And speaking of naturals, who knew that her big naturals would look so amazing when she and her man get down in the great outdoors. Of course, the irony here is that Friday the 13th Part V is one of the only films in the franchise where Jason Voorhees isn’t the killer, but Debi Sue’s killer rack more than makes up for that lack of synergy!
Arguably the best mid-90s proto-feminist horror revenge sex thriller ever made, 1995’s Species launched not only a franchise but also star Natasha Henstridge’s career! The Canadian beauty makes her simultaneous screen and nude debuts here as Sil, an alien creature who needs a man to knock her up, so she disguises herself as Natasha Henstridge, which is a rather unsurprisingly effective way to meet that goal! Sex with Natasha is a reward worth any risk we could imagine… even certain death!
Eli Roth’s 2015 thriller Knock Knock presented every man with his dream scenario, before flipping the script and making it every man’s nightmare. Ana de Armas and Lorenza Izzo show up at Keanu Reeves’ front door asking to use his phone after their car breaks down and things escalate quickly, culminating in a skinsational threesome! True, it’s all downhill from there—it is a horror movie after all—but for a glorious few minutes, we get to live in that fantasy, and who wouldn’t want to go to there?
Texas Chainsaw Massacre director Tobe Hooper belongs on the Mount Rushmore of horror directors for many reasons, but one of the biggest is for giving the world Mathilda May in 1985’s Lifeforce. Mathilda makes an unbelievable first skinpression in her English language film debut, spending almost the entirety of her time on screen completely nude! Mathilda May is all you’ve ever wanted from a teenage boy’s (or grown ass man’s) wildest dreams. She’s an all-timer with one of the greatest racks ever put on film!
Three years after Who’s The Boss went off the air, Alyssa Milano finally managed to shed her child star image by getting very grown up in the 1995 horror flick Embrace of the Vampire. 50 minutes into this erotically charged bloodsucking B-movie, Alyssa ditches her top for a steamy sapphic photo shoot with Charlotte Lewis, who slowly but surely undresses her co-star! It only took 11 years, but it looks like we finally know the answer to the question Who’s The Boss?
Although James Cameron is rightly credited with bringing back the 3D craze with 2009’s Avatar, the following year’s Piranha 3D should get at least some credit for its creative use of the technology. Nowhere is that creativity more apparent than when busty beauties Kelly Brook and Riley Steele deliver a fully nude, lesbian-tinged, underwater ballet scene that makes us all wish we had 3D computer monitors because there’s nothing quite like seeing all three Bs in all three Ds!
Director Stuart Gordon’s Re-Animator is a groundbreaking film for many reasons, none more so than the fact that it’s perhaps the first time on screen that a woman got head from a severed head! A totally game Barbara Crampton cements her legacy as an 80s scream queen in this outrageous scene that actually led the wife of actor David Gale to file for divorce! Whatever else you can say about any other scene on this list, this is the only one that actually caused a marriage to fall apart!
Nearly 50 years after it was released, Nicholas Roeg’s terrifying thriller Don’t Look Now is still one of the most talked about films of that era for one major reason: Julie Christie’s sex scene with Donald Sutherland. Rumors have persisted over the decades that the sex scene was unsimulated and despite categoric denials from both actors and Roeg, the rumors continue to dominate the conversation. Don’t Look Now remains the gold standard for horror films looking to simultaneously titillate and terrify audiences and there’s no denying that this scene will provide plenty of titllation for another fifty years and beyond!
