Over the Summer (1984)

A city girl goes to stay with her backwoods grandparents and gets caught up in some hillbilly intrigue in Over the Summer (1984). Tina (Laura Hunt) heads from Atlanta to rural North Carolina for the summer, and soon she has reunited with her childhood friend Rose (Catherine Williams) and started a romance with the local hick stud, Rich (Johnson West). But what seems to be an idyllic setting is actually a simmering hotbed of secrets, and one of the rednecks has a nasty taste for arson, misogyny, and murder. Catherine Williams plays the white trash best friend and shows off some nice hill-billies while stripping down for a skinny dip. Yeeeee-hot!
