No Man's Land (2020)

Terrorism is historically thought of as a man's game where the bad guys blow themselves up to end up with a whole gaggle of virgins in their version of heaven.  So when ISIS comes in and targets a new bombing site they accidentally kill Antoine's (Félix Moati) sister in the collateral damage.  As the tragedy of Anna's (Mélanie Thierry) death leads her family to cope in various ways, Antoine is the one who decides to go investigate further after he thinks he sees her still alive on the news.  So he sets off to war torn Syria to see if he can find out if Anna is in fact dead or alive!  While in the ISIS stronghold of the middle east, he finds there is a lot more to modern terrorism than just a bunch of angry young men trying to blow stuff up along with themselves.  He finds that the complexity of Syrian politics, agendas, and alliances are interwoven and he's getting deeper and deeper, pissing off the wrong people along the way.  He buddies up with a band of ultra badass Kurdish fighters who all just happen to be ladies making their way into ISIS caliphate occupied territory to get as many terrorist heads as they can!  Did Anna fake her own death so she could join forces with this band of merry badasses?  Terrorism might be a man's game, but freedom fighting is for the proud and strong leading ladies of this Hulu series and Victoria Lewuillon and Souheila Yacoub both get topless in their fight to stop these jerks!  Nothing scares terrorists more than a woman with a gun, because if they get killed by one, they technically don't die a "warrior's death", hence no virgins or heaven.  So let's hope these sexy ladies rack up a serious body count!
