Marinette (2023)

A cinematic look at the life of French footballer Marinette Pichon (Garance Marillier), this biographical film takes us along her road to success, starting with her rocky childhood. Marinette always dreamed of being an athlete despite the challenge of living under the roof of her alcoholic and abusive father. Luckily her mother was a strong women who believed in her talent and supported her as she moved up in the leagues. Marinette would eventually hold the record for most goals and appearances for the French national team until 2020 for both men and women, but it wasn’t until she became the first French player to join a US Team that she was finally able to be open about her sexuality. Garance has some memorably sexy sapphic scenes with Julia Chiche and nudecomer Alicia Wolf, while Émilie Dequenne displays some captivating cleavage as Marinette’s mother.
