Lowdown Dirty Criminals (2020)

Not related in any way to the mid-90s Keenan Ivory Wayans vehicle A Low Down Dirty Shame (1994), the New Zealand criminal comedy caper Lowdown Dirty Criminals (2020) follows slackers Marvin (Samuel Austin) and Freddy (James Rolleston) as they coast through life doing as little as humanly possible. Like a grown up Beavis and Butt-head, the two think that the key to making it in this life is by climbing the criminal ladder and making a name for themselves in the world of organized crime. Instead, their inept bungling of several low-risk jobs in a row lands them on a list they never wanted to end up on... the hit list. These two morons must now dodge a crime boss known as The Upholsterer (Rebecca Gibney) who always gets her man, even when it's two men and they're both idiots. The only problem is that her two most trusted hitmen Semo (Robbie Magasiva) and Roy (Cohen Holloway) prove themselves even more idiotic than Marvin and Freddy as they are continually duped by these two con men! If Freddy and Marvin make it out alive, they're both going straight because they're done with the criminal life! The real crime in this flick is that they enlisted the help of New Zealand hottie Fingal Pollock for a sexy scene, but she leaves her bra on during the scene! Thankfully we get some nice cleavage from this world-class hottie but we really think someone involved in this production ought to be prosecuted for denying us the pleasure of seeing Fingal in the buff!
