When it comes to the sexy and aging artist Melanie (Leslie Hope), her loving husband Frank (Bruce Greenwood) is her sounding board on pretty much everything in her life, including her long struggles with alcohol.  He's been constantly there for her throughout the years, but Melanie and her recent diagnosis of terminal cancer is enough to make her re-evaluate everything.  Has she lived her life to its fullest, has she truly been loved?  Does that sexy older photographer fellow have the cure for what ails her emotionally and spiritually?  Well, when she goes to his art exhibit and looks into his camera, she soon discovers that his tintype photography only has one subject in focus, and that is close-ups of ladies vaginas!  The extremely exposed art, which borders on porn for some, gently tugs at something in Melanie's subconscious and she decides to venture from their home in Toronto all the way out to Los Angeles to let this photographer shoot her as a form of self expression and realization before she eventually gives us any and all forms of treatment for her disease.  As the story of one last fling takes center stage of an even more layered story from multiple parties viewing close-ups of vaginas and how it affects their lives and interpretation of art, we must stop and take appreciation of the stunner Leslie Hope.  Leslie hasn't gone nude since the late 90s, so it's a nice return to the screen for her slamming body and the equally sexy Kristin Lehman shows some cleavage while trying to seduce a guy.  Outside of that though, there are definitely plenty of unidentifiable tin-type photos of vulvas for your viewing pleasure throughout this one, so enjoy!  Also, vaginas ARE art, so no need to question the "depth of field" on the pictures in this one because you'll be gauging this art on a five finger scale instead!
