Gorilla at Large (1954)

Originally released in the miracle of 3-D, Gorilla at Large (1954) is a rip-snorting mystery set at a carnival known as the Garden of Evil. There, a man gets murdered by the hairy beast of the title—or at least by somebody dressed up in a monkey suit. The carnival's real gorilla feels the heat and gives his trainers the slip. Then he does what every movie primate does as soon as possible—he goes apeshit over some hot human woman. In this case, it's a young Anne Bancroft, and when the beast carries her to the top of a roller coaster, you'll be peeling your banana.
