Goon (2011)

The black sheep of a family gets his shot at glory in the hockey comedy Goon (2011). Doug (Seann William Scott) was born into a family of doctors, but he doesn’t have the brains to go into the family business. He's stuck being a bouncer at a Massachusetts bar, but after an impressive fight in the stands at a local minor league hockey game the team asks him to join the squad as a “goon” or "enforcer," which is a player who fights as a way to protect the smaller teammates. Soon he’s drafted into the semi-pros to protect star player Xavier LaFlamme (Marc-Andre Grondin) who has been playing scared since he was laid out by the meanest dude in the big leagues, Ross "The Boss" Rhea (Liev Schreiber). Doug's gladiatorial style wins over the fans and captures the heart of local puck slut named Eva (Alison Pill), but after breaking the rules too much Ross "The Boss" gets demoted to the minors, which puts him in the same league as Doug and Xavier. Can Doug protect the best player on the team from his legendary former bully or is Ross going to be far too tough for him to take on? Ladies love the dudes who drop the gloves, so there's plenty of poon in Goon, despite these not even being NHL players. Brandy Jaques will get your jacques up when she shows off her bouncy right roundie getting banged on a pool table. 69 ball corner pocket!
