Girls Trip (2017)

Four sexy women on a wild trip to New Orleans? Sounds like a good time to us! And apparently, it did to theatergoers too, since this one ended up being the first black written, black starring and black directed film to cross one hundred million bucks at the box office. The stars embarking on this alcohol- and absinthe-fueled journey in the movie Girls Trip (2017) are the divorced nurse Lisa Miller Cooper(Jada Pinkett Smith),Time Magazine journalist turnedonline gossip reporter Sasha Franklin (Queen Latifah),the wild single lady with a hot temper Dina (Tiffany Haddish), and famed author Ryan Pierce (Regina Hall)- with a tag-a-long agent named Elizabeth Davelli (Kate Walsh) in tow. These ladies have been close since college, and call themselves the "Flossy Posse." But the posse haven't seen each other all that much lately, so they head to The Big Easy to reconnect. Problems arise immediately, with the ladies getting kicked out of their hotel, getting drugged and hallucinating at the most inopportune time, and all sorts of other hilarity that's going to guarantee our girls remain the closest of friends. And since nobody knows you like a lifelong bud, maybe they'll get real about their problems and help each other find some solutions. If Mr. Skin had to pick one to get chummy with, he'd choose Tiffany Haddish thanks to her work in this one. She gives a banana a second fruit aided blow job in a hilarious "grapefruiting" demonstration, which is believed to be the first time that sex act has even been shown onscreen!
