Footprints on the Moon (1975)

Legend of grind house Italian cinema Florinda Bolkan stars as Alice, a translator who loses her job after missing work for three days, the events of which she has no memory of and now must piece that lost time back together using some odd clues like a postcard and a missing earring. She’s lead to the seaside town of Garma, where people there seem to know her as Nicole though she doesn’t recognize them, and all the while she’s having strange visions of astronauts on the moon. Oscar-winning cinematographer Vittorio Storaro paints a dramatic and otherworldly picture as always but the real beauty is Florinda’s flattering figure in a sudsy scene we see through a shower door. Getting clean never felt so dirty!
