Review

A woman reflects on her life's journey so far in the Polish art house flick Femina (1991). Hanna Dunowska stars as Bogna, a 30-year-old housewife who  and lives in a dream world to escape the reality of her loveless marriage. After she learns that her mother has died, Bogna reminisces on her idyllic childhood and wonders where things went so wrong. We're not sure, but we'll be having sweet wet dreams of the scene where Hanna bares her pierogis getting some Polish sausage in bed.
