Die Jungfrauenmaschine (1988)

Die Jungfrauen Machine (1988) is the story of a reporter who goes to San Francisco to write about romance and boy does she. The reporter ends up having an affair with a stripper from an all-women’s club. Girls will do girls, as Dominique Gaspar and Ina Blum, playing the writer from Germany, prove with their full-frontal and naked hijinks. The San Francisco Examiner called it “ a lesbian Candide...deliriously obscene.” The movie was directed and written by Monika Treut, a German filmmaker, who has made a movie starring the porn icon Annie Sprinkles. We’d like to see more provocative titles from this auteur.
