Cocoon (2020)

The German bildungsroman Cocoon (2022) centers around Nora (Lena Urzendowsky), a young woman blossoming into full womanhood and going through that awkward phase we all go through, she just happens to be a late bloomer. Her older sister Jule (Lena Klenke) and Jule's best friend cum lesbian lover Ailyn (Elina Vildanova) spend all their time obsessing over their image, while Nora just sits back and observes their strange obsessions with quiet fascination. Then she meets Romy (Jella Haase) and Nora's world is turned upside down as she discovers both true love and true friendship for the first time in her life!
