This singing and dancing Pennsylvania native had big Broadway dreams and eventually made her debut there as The Witch in the premiere production of Big Fish. She's also gone on as a replacement in the roles of The Leading Player in Pippin, Elsa in Frozen, and Jenna in Waitress throughout her career. Her small screen debut came in 2014, like most Broadway babes, on an episode of Law & Order: SVU. A year later she appeared for the first time as Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl on The Flash, a role she would return to on both Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. In 2023, the same year she had a recurring role on the Showtime original drama Your Honor, Ciara played Ambrosia, a hip young artist pitted against Owen Wilson’s Bob Ross-like television host in the dramedy Paint. In it, Ciara has a steamy sapphic moment in a car when she leans over and kisses his ex, played by Michaela Watkins, so be careful not to spatter!
