Chappie (2015)

Chappie (2015) is South African-Candian director Neill Blomkamp’s science fiction followup to his acclaimed mockumentary District 9 (2009) and his dystopian mind-bender Elysium (2013). This comedic thriller hybrid follows a police droid whose reprogramming causes him to feel and think for himself and go rogue. Threatened by this, authorities set out to destroy Chappie to ensure he’s the last free-thinking robot in existence. The film finds unlikely stars in South African rap-ravers Die Antwood made up of its two founding members, rapper Ninja and squeaky-voiced pixie girl, Yo-Landi Visser or Vi$$er. Yo-Landi has an alien allure with her long flowing pigtails, extremely short bangs, and her bleached white eyebrows making it impossible to mistake her for someone else. She also fancies impossibly short shorts that offer up some appetizing under bum cleavage as well as some camel toe touting blue panties that are out of this world sexy. Yo-Landi's mysterious presence and her tight caboose are enough to make even the most robotic among us feel something...mostly in our pants!
