Based on the true story of super-lobbyist Jack Abramoff and Michael Scanlon, Casino Jack (2010), this flick is one of the boldest recounts on politics around. While most scandalous on-screen accounts usually involve fabricated names and subtle pokes at real-life events, this movie is as in-your-face-as it gets—in fact, the director even cut real court footage with John McCain into one of the peak scenes. The story, while riveting, is a common one in Washington D.C. Lobbyists influence Congress with corporate dollars, frequently leading to all kinds of corruption and greed. Exhibit A: Amramoff and Scanlon' stole money from Native American casinos to lobby for them, hoarding a good portion of the cash for themselves.  So where did all those dollars go? Prostitutes, of course. There's a particularly stellar shot of Sima Fisher's bare buns as she lies passed out on Scanlan's bed in nothing but a thong. The other uncredited prostitute is smoking a cigarette on the couch smoking a cigarette with her sweet, sweet soombas out. Forget the cash—these are stacks we can get behind.
