Betty (2020-2021)

Betty (2020) is an HBO original series about female skateboarders in New York City who stick together in the face of the male-dominated underground skate scene. This comedy focuses on their friendships and the hardships that come from being young, broke, and a woman in New York City. Nina Moran plays the tomboyish Kirt who opens up the first episode by taking a picture of her bruised ass. We start up-close on her black-and-blue cheek and then the camera pans out to show us that she clearly has her pink basketball shorts pulled down below her cheek. Yes, her ass is bruised, but that's just because she skates hard to make you hard.
