Anyone Home? (2018)

For the good people suffering from Bipolar Disorder, it's mountain top highs and crushing lows with their emotions, so it's definitely a good idea to have a doctor at the ready and your medications well scheduled and regulated so you don't go through a manic episode.  For a single mother, struggling with her own manic depressive state at times, Camila (Monique Gabriela Curnen), a new job, new house, and new expectations seem to be a step in the right direction!  Unfortunately though, Camila's new job comes with some troubling stipulations... She's working for a realtor who wants her to do sales calls and caretake one of their model homes, but the home she's set to live in is one of the few completed houses in an unfinished development.  So her and her young son are the only two people living in a completely empty neighborhood.  It's just the two of them and Camila's ever growing dangerous fantasies, which she begins to start entertaining around town in little ways.  Shoplifting, flirting with men at the craft store, going off her meds, making creepy dolls with papier-mâché, and eventually envisioning hurting the creepy guy around town in brutal ways.  With the allegory of the failed "American Dream" of people struggling to survive amidst financial ruin, the comparisons to Camila's Bipolar traits go hand in hand and the gorgeous Monique Gabriela Curnen who shows us some skin in her panties, we are definitely asking Anyone Home? We are also keeping our eyes open for someone with a knife hiding in one of the empty model homes the whole time!
