A native Los Angelino, Annette Charles combined her Mexican and Italian heritage into one of the sexiest packages you'll ever see! Born in the City of Angels in 1948, Annette wasted no time getting her career going, making her first on-screen appearance at age 19 on the hit NBC western The High Chaparral! From there, Annette nabbed a number of one off roles on such series as The Flying Nun and Gunsmoke in 1970, and The Mod Squad, Banacek, and Bonanza in 1972! She then began a run of two-episode arcs on such hit shows as Emergency!, Barnaby Jones, and The Bionic Woman. It wasn't long before the big screen began calling Annette's name and she landed her most famous role of all as bad girl Cha Cha DiGregorio in Grease (1978)! Annette showed off her acting chops, her dancing skill, and plenty of leg and cleavage as the gal whom John Travolta's Danny Zuko takes to prom to make Olivia Newton-John's Sandy jealous. Annette more than keeps up with her disco dancing co-star, going step for step and even outshining him when the moment calls for such an occasion! Film and television roles in a variety of projects followed, most notably on Magnum P.I. as well as the cult hit Transylmania (2009)! Though Annette wasn't quite as visible in the 90s and 2000s as we would have liked, she always brought a smile to our face when she turned up some place unexpected! Sadly, Annette left us way too soon in 2011 at the age of 63, but we're incredibly grateful for all the memories—and dirty thoughts—she helped us create!
