Paula (Allessandra Negrini), the fiancé of Rodrigo (Kadu Moliterno), has gotten down and dirty with Ricardo (Leonardo Brício), her future brother-in-law. But that’s nothing, you wouldn’t believe what… ah, forget it. In reality, it doesn’t matter who’s zooming who, who’s doing who, and who’s planning to kill who, this is a Brazilian soap and that means everyone’s doing everything to everyone and everyone deserves it, the bastards. This particular show is a remake of a 1976 series by the same name, the cast is massive, the plot still irrelevant and chaotic, the actors still as cardboard as a Yoda standee. Taís Araújo co-stars and she got naked the 1996 series, Xica de Silva. Which you wouldn’t have seen unless your TV set picks up Brazilian TV.
