Insanity (2021)

Paula (Carol Castro) is a damn good forensic investigator, one of the best in the field in Brazil.  Suddenly she has to put her career on hold for a bit after a terrible tragedy strikes her family.  Like anyone who goes through something traumatic though, there is some concerns about the person most affected and their mental health.  Paula seems like she is having a rough time, but is still keeping it together, but for the sake of safety she is admitted to a psychiatric hospital under false pretenses.  Poor Paula is put through a gamut of psychological tests, experimental drugs, and told time and time again that she isn't well.  Her mind is constantly and almost strategically frayed by the nefarious shrink who can't be trusted.  As she begins to believe that she is on the brink of Insanity, Paula then starts to realize that she might not be crazy at all, but she's the victim of something much more terrible.  The true motive behind why she has been placed in a mental institution, given so many different mind bending drugs, and told that she is crazy as a loon doesn't have anything to do with the family tragedy she faced, but it has more to do with her work and her getting a little too close to the motives of the very hospital that she has been admitted to!  While there isn't much skin in this Brazilian show, we do get to see the stunning Guenia Lemos get fingered by the evil shrink with her top open and she is a delightfully sexy smoke show surprise in this horror series!
