A-X-L (2018)

A-X-L (2018) is a troubled attempt to appeal to the kids these days by a studio hopelessly out of step with what the kids actually want these days. The film takes its title from a robotic dog created by a defense manufacturer for Attacking, eXploring, and Logistics, but A-X-L escapes the lab one day and is found by lonely dirt biker Miles (Alex Neustaedter). While Miles treats him like a real dog, which is all a robotic dog could really hope for from a human, it's A-X-L who is really helping Miles by helping him gain confidence in himself and ask out his crush Sara (Becky G). Just your typical YA boy and his dog story with a sci-fi twist and a scene where they all go to the beach and we're treated to the sight of Becky G in a bikini top! That'll give your dog a bone!
