À mort la mort (1999)

A middle-aged mortuary attendant learns to love life in À mort la mort (1999). Thomas (Romain Goupil) sounds his days transporting freshly deceased bodies from the hospital to the cemetery, a profession that suits his motto: "life's a bitch." But despite his cynical philosophy, Thomas is still capable of joy, laughter, and maybe even love--all thanks to the beautiful, vivacious Véronique (Brigitte Catillon).
