2 Hearts (2020)

Nothing beats a classic love story tear-jerker!  In this 2020 romantic drama, we actually get a little more bang for your buck too because you don't just get one tear-jerker, you're getting two concurrently running love stories based around a rare heart condition!  It's practically enough to make your own heart skip a beat in this family friendly affair.  We are introduced to the lovelorn college hunk, Chris (Jacob Elordi), who meets and immediately falls in love with a classmate, Sam (Tiera Skovbye), who he literally bumps into on his way out of class and can't stop thinking about.  Smash cut to a decades earlier flashback, where a charming Cuban-American heir to a rum empire, Jorge (Adan Canto) who needs a little assistance on his flight and meets the gorgeous "sky stewardess", Leslie (Radha Mitchell), who seems to calm his weary nerves on a long flight.  As both relationships begin to blossom, with Chris wooing Sam all around campus as they go to parties, dance, exchange playlists; then Jorge jet-setting all around the world to catch up to Leslie, we soon find that both of these men at different time periods, may in fact share a similar life-threatening heart condition that could end their newfound romances before they even get off the ground.  So 2 Hearts, is more than just an apt title for this family friendly romance, it's a bit of a metaphor for both men, who simply have too much love to give!  We don't doubt why these rare heart conditions come along though, because the bodies of Tiera Skovbye and Radha Mitchell on display a bit in this one are enough to make your heart explode like you're sucking down double bacon bronco burgers five times a day!  The screen time sexy does a quadruple bypass over heart and straight to another veiny organ!
