I recently saw one film by a French filmmaker I was rather unfamiliar with and I went on to look at other films by the director. Since two of his films focus on so much nudity, I wanted to shine a light on the fine French films of Joann Sfar.
His debut film is also her most nude. Gainsbourg tells the story of the controversial French virtuoso Serge Gainsbourg. Gainsbourg: A Hero Life was released in 2010 and starred Eric Elmosino as the titular Serge Gainsbourg. Serge played very sexual music that transcended French pop and seduced ears around the world. He was also known for being surrounded by gorgeous women and for some of the most beautiful French women in the 1960s and 70s becoming his muse.
Laetitia Casta stars as Brigitte Bardot who recreates Brigitte's beautiful 60s look complete with her winged eyeliner, big blonde hair, and big breasts. Laetitia does her justice with a hot hourglass figure.
Lucy Gordon plays his muse and long-term partner Jane Birkin who passed away earlier this year. Lucy does her justice as the chic cool chick that she really was.
Other babes in the film include Deborah Grall and Ophelia Kolb who goes nude as a nude model in a classroom, showing off her buxom body to be a physical muse to men looking to put her artful body on canvas.
The film I recently saw was his trippy 2015 feature which also took place in the 70s. It also had a lot of nudity in it and it starred gorgeous blonde babe Freya Mavor! Those are two things that I like a lot.
The Lady in the Car with Glasses and a Gun was a French-Belgian thriller that was sort of a sleeper hit. It a remake of a 1970s film in which Freya plays a bored secretary who takes her boss and his wife to the airport, but takes it for a joy ride. She winds up having a crazy adventure after a man hijacks her car! But we aren't sure how much the bored secretary is in control - or if any of this is real.
What IS real are Freya's fun bags which we get to enjoy when she is laying on her back getting some oral pleasure. It is a pleasure to watch her enjoy this so much!

His other films have not had nearly as much nudity in them, but they are also not as adult in content. His last film was an animated feature called Little Vampire - written by his wife Sandrina Jardel - and it was released in 2020.
He seems to have gravitated towards projects that are targeted towards children now which is a huge bummer. I hope that this is just a phase for the French filmmaker and that he will soon return to making movies with skintastic nude scenes.
