For today's Throwback Thursday we are taking a look at the former Vegas showgirl who became the thinking man's sex symbol.We're talking about the one and only Valerie Perrine.
She was born in Galveston, Texas, but her father was in the army so she grew up in Japan and Arizona. Such different worlds for a woman who would become a global hottie! Valerie has always been admired for her gorgeous lispy voice, blue eyes, blond hair, and curvaceous figure which she's maintained for decades.
She began her career as a showgirl, but soon her good looks and talent took her to the next level. Her debut film role was aa Montana Wildhack in 1972'sSlaughterhouse-Fivewhich was a fabulous, technicolordisplay of her jugs throughout the movie. She made a skintasticimpression on the American public in several sultry scenes.
She then became the first woman to show her nipples on American network TV in Steambathwhere she took a very appropriate steambath in this 1973 TV movie that can be hard to get ahold of now. Luckily, Mr. Skin has all the scenes you need to see of her history-makingnips.
Her best nudity was yet to come! In the black-and-white Lenny Bruce biopic Lenny, Val undressed fully and looked like a straight upplaymate as she posed nude on a bed surrounded by flowers. Who knew the comedian's biopic had so much sex in it? Valerie did because she brought it as Honey Bruce who is the kind of girl you'd love to call honey.
She didn't stop undressing in the 80s with her roles in Can't Stop the Music and The Border. Her nudity after that was few and far between. She showed up in her lingerie in 1995's The Break after taking a decade break from nudity. She waited another ten years to go nude again, but when she did it was wonderful She bore cleavage, underwear, and her barebuns in The Amateurs. Obviously, we know that Val is no amateur when it comes to nudity.
