The action genre isn't just for men to kick bad guys in the face and save the day. Women can do it, too. The best part? These women looks sooooo hot doing it. Here are some of the hottest female action stars in their sexiest roles.
Charlize Theron in Atomic Blonde
Charlize Theron is a total badass who can do everything. She can transform for a role whether it is a drama like Monster, a comedy like Arrest Development, or even a villain in the Fast the Furious franchise. What can't she do? I don't have an answer to that question because she stunned us all in Atomic Blond. It turns out she's a hot action star, too.
In this film, she played a bisexual secret agent who had steamy lesbian sex with Sofia Boutella. It looks like her secret mission was actually to get between the sheets with hot women! That's a mission that I would love to accept.
Zhang Ziyi in Legend of the Black Scorpion
Martial artist Zhang Ziyi has been a superstar in Asia, especially in the 90s and 2000s when she was the star of several impressive martial arts films. She is also absolutely stunning! It is a shame that she never crossed over with success in the United States, but her starring role in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon helped that.

Cynthia Rothrock in Sworn to Justice
Cynthia Rothrock deserves more respect. She appeared in 40 films between 1985 and 1997 and held her own as an action hero due to her martial arts background. She was a trained weapons specialist and World Champion Martial Artist, so she knows what she is doing. This hottie kicked ass in a lot of productions. She found success in the Asian film market especially. She went nude in Sworn to Justice with breasts that certainly know justice.
Pam Grier in Coffy
Blaxploitation is a genre credited with featuring what were perhaps the first female action stars with Pam Grier becoming a household name for her many badass blaxploitation flicks. This 1973 flick is one of our favorite looks at Pam Grier's rear.
Milla Jovovich in The Fifth Element
Is anyone hotter in an action film than Milla Jovovich? Whether she is wearing hardly anything at all like in The Fifth Element as she goes on the run in an alien future world or she is kicking zombie ass in Resident Evil, Jovovich knows how to use her body to fight. She looks good doing it, too. The Ukrainian-born hottie is best known for her striking looks and long legs that she shows off with high kicks through the air.
Linda Hamilton in The Terminator
Thanks to her bevy of 1980s movies, Linda Hamilton is the mother of all action stars. Due to her kickass role in Terminator, she became everyone's human crush.
