"Aspect ratio" is one of those technical terms that only the most avid of movie-lovers cares about.

Luckily, the offices of Skin Central are full of avid movie-lovers, so we were able to get our hands on a non-letterbox copy of Jessica Biel's nude debut, Powder Blue (2009), and immediately noticed a difference. A difference in nudity quality!

Airing on Showtime is a proper, 16:9 widescreen cut of the new skin classic. Take out that pesky letterbox and what do you see? An extra, clearer, altogether better view of Biel's betwitching, beautiful boobs when she reaches down for some hot candle wax while sprawled on the strip club stage.

Our Skin Lab techs have helpfully created a video illustrating the different between the letterbox and widescreen versions. At left, widescreen. At right, the original letterbox. There's no skin-parison... you get more Biel for your buck in 16:9!

When it comes to nudity, this is even better than 7th Heaven.
