PIRANHA/PIRANHA 3D: Original and Remake Nudity

For scientific purposes, let’s compare and contrast the nudity in the original Piranha (1978) and the 2010 remake, Piranha 3D. Remember, this study is a purely scientific endeavor, so keep your pencils sharp while we roll through the clips. First, from the original Piranha (1978), Janie Squire pushes her questioning beau into the water while she strips down to full frontal. The camera pulls further and further back as this happens, leaving viewers to question – why? From the remake, Piranha 3D (2010), much more nudity abounds. Kelly Brook and Riley Steele swim around the boat and as they submerge for an underwater shot, we see they are wearing nothing but flippers, and in fact are engaging in some underwater lesbianism. Jessica Szohr and Riley Steele emerge from the water, back onto the boat, and in the process Riley gives us her backside. Gianna Michaels is doing some topless parasailing, but something beneath the surface begins munching on her bottom, and not in a good way. A crumbling stage results in a snapped wire, which cuts Ashlynn Brooke in half, fortunately breaking her bikini top in the process for a flash of her left jug. More of Ashlynn’s mams when she flashes a passing motorcycler on the road. And bikni scenes galore involving Kelly Brook dancing on a boat, Dina Meyer doing some work, and plenty more.
