2015: Jupiter Ascending
After getting bumped from the summer 2014 lineup, the last theatrically released film from The Wachowskis turned up on this weekend four years ago and disappeared pretty quickly from theaters. Admittedly this one was far too high-concept for its own good and was slightly hampered by its PG-13 rating, but it did bring us a nice look at Tuppence Middleton's buns as she emerges from a de-aging bath! Sadly Mila Kunis is the only one with the R-rated view of Tuppence...
2009: Incendiary
Just one year after starring together in the steamy flick Deception, Michelle Williams and Ewan McGregor reunite for this drama that involves infidelity, a terrorist attack, and Michelle Williams writes a letter to Osama Bin Laden. It's one of the strangest movies you'll ever see.
It also has one of Michelle's best nude scenes as she strips off her top in the kitchen for Ewan...
The thing about this movie is that she's cheating on her husband while he and their son at are a football game. A terrorist attack takes place at that game—it happens on television as she climaxes, I kid you not— killing her husband and son, andsaddling her with enough guilt to start her own religion (h/t Tori Amos). It's ultimately not a very good movie, but that's fairly meaningless here at Mr. Skin because it's got a great, very real looking sex scene between Michelle and Ewan, complete with some good fake insertion on Ewan's part...
Happy 10th anniversary to this scene, it hasn't aged a day!
2009: Absurdistan
Also opening in limited release on this day ten years ago was this German comedy that was filmed in the small country of Azerbaijan. It's loosely based on the classic Greek play Lysistrata, wherein the women in a village go on a sex strike until the men do something to fix the water shortage in town. This puts a damper on the main character's plans to deflower his childhood sweetheart, played by the gorgeous Kristyna Malérová, who strips fully nude sixteen minutes into the film!
It's a strange but charming little movie, and makes a good double feature with Spike Lee's Chi-Raq, another modern day take on Lysistrata.
2004: The Dreamers
Bernardo Bertolucci'spenultimate film is also the film that introduced the world to Eva Green and, more importantly, her stunningly perfect naked body! So confident was Bertolucci that he had found perfection, he deigned to compare Eva with the Venus de Milo, and it actually managed to pay off!
Released theatrically in the United States on this day 15 years ago, The Dreamers remains among the sexiest films produced in this millennium. If I'm not mistaken, this film got Eva Green into the Mr. Skin Hall of Fame with her very first role. She spends almost the entirety of the film in various states of undress, and even allowed a close-up of her vagina which helped seal the film's restrictive NC-17 rating...
Of all the films released on this day throughout history, this has to be the hottest, and it's all thanks to the incredible Eva Green!
2004: Perfect Opposites
Also on this day 15 years ago came this relationship dramedy starring Piper Perabo. Sadly Piper doesn't doff her duds here, but her co-stars Nichole Hiltz (left) and Jesse Capelli (right) make up for it with their topless sunbathing scene!
1987: Black Widow
Finally, on this day 32 years ago, FBI agent Debra Winger is caught in a deadly game of cat and mouse with Theresa Russell as the titular husband murderer! Funny story, I often confused this flick and The Accused when I was younger, don't ask me why, presumably it was because their VHS box art was very similar, but the films themselves really couldn't be more dissimilar.
In this erotic thriller from Bob Rafelson, Russell really gives it her all, particularly in during a nighttime skinny dip with her most recent husband/future victim! Theresa shows off everything underwater, including some rare backburger as she practices her stroke...
