Two families meet for the first time after the death of their matriarch in Jayne Mansfield's Car (2012). Thirty years ago, Caroll Caldwell (Kevin Bacon)'s wife left him and their children and started a new family in England. Now she has passed away, and has asked that her body be returned home to Alabama to be buried. Now her families--the one she abandoned and the one she left them for--are meeting for the first time, and the results are predictably mixed. 52 minutes in, Frances O’Connor goes full frontal for Billy Bob Thornton, and at the 1-hour, 28-minute mark Katherine LaNasa bares her maracas lying in bed.
