Monika Balsai, the Hungarian actress earned her first noteworthy role in 2011 on Társas játék (or When Shall We Kiss), a television series about young adults living in Budapest. After the show ended in 2013, she followed that up with the TV movie Ambassador To Bern, based on the true story of two Hungarian immigrants who break into the Hungarian embassy in Bern to take the ambassador hostage. But it’s Mónika’s star turn in the whimsical black comedy Liza the Fox-Fairy (2015) that really whets our appetites for this Hungarian head turner. As the movie’s narrator introduces Mónika’s new 30-something live-in caretaker for a Japanese-obsessed widow, we get to peep her perky pair as she takes a shower, albeit mostly covered by text during the opening credits. Is that a naughty nip we see? Her career continued after this domestic smash, both on the big screen (Kills On Wheels, Strangled, X - The eXploited) and back on the small with, an appearance on the Hungarian version of In Treatment, plus the dramedy Válótársak, and the lead in the crime series Alvilág. But with no other nudity that we know of, Mónika’s sure left us Hungary for more!
